Schwimmhalle Ernst- Thalman Park

We finally made it to the Schwimmhalle Ernst- Thalman Park swimming pool and had a great morning. The kiddie pool (Kinderbecken) was fantastic. It is only 30cm deep and has a padded bottom - something I have never encountered before  - with a little slide into the water and a larger slide connecting the two small pools. The water was deliciously warm. The pool is located to the left of the main pool but with sufficient distance to be safe.

The changing room were super clean and you come straight from the changing area via a shower to the pool area. You need to remove your shoes outside the changing room. We saw people wearing flip flops but it is not compulsory. You will also need 1€ coin for the locker.

There is a changing table right next to the kiddie pool and a small playpen to keep crawlers and babies safe.

My son is 2 years old and unlike other pools we have used in Denmark, we needed to pay for him so the cost can add up. They offer tickets for 10 swims which work out cheaper per visit so may be worth it if you come regularly.
