Hashi Japanese Kitchen

An American friend of mine recommended this great Japanese restaurant close to Rosenthaler Platz and we finally made it. It was well worth it and a great choice for families as the lunchtime menu consists mainly of bento boxes so small helpings of a variety of things.

The ceiling caught my son's attention and you can see why - there are hundreds of chopsticks hanging down.

This was my bento box - teriyaki chicken, which was perfectly cooked with a lovely crispy skin, roasted aubergines, Japanese pickles, sticky rice and a little side salad. My son had the veggie sushi box and ate almost all of it.

The food is relatively inexpensive, freshly cooked and delicious. I also noticed they have a number of high chairs for younger diners.
